FIRST OFFICIAL COMMISSION!..... trade... XD But STILL A COMMISSION NONETHELESS!

of her two original characters Markaleb and Stellan. Being that the they are kind of like detectives, the task was to draw them in some kind of traditional detective clothes as a joke. So thinking about it, what better to pull inspiration for a detective illustration than from the Film Noir genre! So yeah, a bit of an anachronistic setting for laughs while still pulling the cool dark edge of the era.
Piece was done with black and brown inks and watercolor on a 9x12 sheet.

Ah this looks so great! 
I love seeing them in the traditional detective outfits, it totally made my day. (Hah, at first I was wondering why Mark's hat had a bulge, then I remembered he has a horn there... >o>;; I'm smart today!) I can't believe how much detail there is in this though! Thankies~ <3 *will totally work extra hard on my half of the trade*
